Rose of Alabama

Recording Date:

I had not heard this song until I downloaded a version by Douglas Jimerson from emusic. The tune much fun to play, and it also works fine out of G tuning but I like how the fingering works in standard C. And, it's a little better for my voice. This was first published in 1846, words by S. S. Steel, music is anonymous.
